To the staff of Blind Horse Saloon, we are so sorry. To everyone else…
WHAT THE ACTUAL @#$%?
You can take that question any way you like.
Here are a few options: What the actual @#$%…
- will the employees of Blind Horse Saloon do for income?
- do the SC legislators think will come of their inaction on the topic of liquor liability? (We suspect re-election is their primary concern. And YOU can derail that train of thought at the primaries in June and the general election in November.)
Please don’t think we’re heartless, but what the actual @#$%?

We’re truly saddened to hear that Blind Horse Saloon is closing. Their Facebook post has created an uproar among current and past patrons. But what are those patrons going to do about it?
- start a petition? (They could sign ours.)
- create a Facebook group? (They could join ours.)
- start a bar & tavern association? (PLEASE DO!)
- contact their legislators and ask them to take action? (They can find their legislator’s contact info here.)
It’s terrible to say, and I hate to even type it. Still, hopefully, the fallout over Blind Horse closing will be worth the economic and cultural loss it will cause. I hope each outraged person will immediately contact their SC legislators and ask them to address the liquor liability insurance issue.
The only glimmer of hope is that the bands who played Blind Horse and their fans will find a way to support the other, smaller venues with as much loyalty as they provided the Blind Horse throughout the years.
The graphic below is a visual of the Senators who voted for S. 533 (The SC Justice Act) and those who didn’t. FYI – Green is good.
We hope you will browse around this site and learn more about this issue in other posts on this site.
