SC Venue Crisis

While we would love to tell you we have a new rally planned for next week, WE DO NOT. We believe that a rally should be held at a time that would be most impactful. Now is not that time.

Tribble recorded a SCVC video update a few days ago to keep everyone in the loop. We snagged it and added it below. Here are some things you need to know.

• There was a SC House Judiciary Liquor Liability Insurance Ad Ho Committee meeting on January 17, 2024. Pre-selected individuals were allowed to speak. Though we were not on the list to voice our concerns, we were there to support lawsuit reform and South Carolina’s small businesses.
• At the end of the meeting, the committee chair, Rep. Jason Elliott, announced that another meeting would be held soon. At that time, members of the community will be allowed to speak. We will be there when that happens.
• SC citizens are encouraged to email their concerns, suggestions, and solutions to the liability insurance rate issue to HJudComm@schouse.gov and their district representatives.
• If you need to know who YOUR state Representatives and Senators are, you can find out at scstatehouse.gov.
